The Art of Leadership by Manning and Curtis begins with these expositions. One might wonder at first wherefore a book about attractorship would begin with the definition of art. For years in the work environments I have been in, I have heard it said that not everyone can be a leader. However, I go back to words of firmness from my mother when I was a child who said, Dont always be a follower. There is a leader inside each of us, you fair(a) have to find her. I didnt believe this for many years.
However, through my experiences in disembodied spirit and in work, I have come to believe just that. I believe what my mother said and what the textbook quotes Robert Reich precept of leadinghip, Everyone has a leader inside. To lead is to influence in some way. It means to leave a mark. We solely do this in one way or another, in a positive way, or sometimes negatively. The art in leadership is gaining the skills to take your individual qualities and integrate them with your experiences and with knowledge gained from rendition or studying, and effecting change on other people, in a situation, or in an organization.
