Accounting Process

On the 20th of January 2010, our group went to interview a diminished business located in Desa Palma known as Nilai contented monetary fund. We interviewed the proprietor of the business by the name of Bakree Acarr. Nilai Convenient Store is a small retail blood situated in G67 Desa Palma Apartments. It is a sole trader business that sells food products like, subdued drinks, tinned foods, bread, etc. There are three forcefulness in the business who constitute of the manager who is withal the owner of the business, a store keeper or supervisor and the teller who operates the cash machine. Organisational structure Manager ( restrainer) Store keeper (supervisor) Cashier Roles of the manager The manager also performs the role of the accountant and can be classified as a managerial accountant. A managerial accountant provides fiscal and non financial information that directs management tasks. The manager also assigns tasks to the employees, i.e. the shopkeeper and the cashier. He stigmatizes goals and objectives that have to be achieved. Roles of the market keeper or supervisor The store keeper is in guide of organising the store and keeps track of the items in the store.

The store keeper works with the cashier to accomplish set goals. He also gives advice to the cashier about the job and career. The storekeeper makes sure that the business is running smoothly. Roles of the cashier The cashier is in charge of operating the cash machine. The cashier records all the transactions do in the cash machine on periodical basis. Roles of the accountant The accountant records all the transaction which has been entered into the cash machine in the books of accounting. These transactions include the receipts and payments made on daily basis.
