br I began my trek towards completing my college bringing up at the Queensborough Community College as a liberal arts study . Being a community college , I would receive from a 2 year course . That was not what I had think for myself . I see myself with a very bright futurity in Literary Arts . That is why I am seeking a transfer to the Queens College , the undergraduate schooldays of Queensborough Community College . A simple 2 year college education is not profuse to cover ever soything that can be intentional and that if I wished to learn much , I would need to graduate from a 4 year college course and then pullulate a Master s Degree and eventually , a PhDLofty ambitions ? Perhaps . But , unlike other students though , I have set up the hang tremendous learning difficulties in to action what I have . I am afflicted with both ADD and Dyslexia . Studying was an obstacle that I had to overcome . I was able to compensate for my disabilities by developing learning tools and fund tricks that helped me learn . I matured fast in to overcome my shortcomings . Which is why I credit my illnesses with helping me succeed in life . Everybody who knows me has said that my conscious effort to concentrate on my studies and painstaking rereading of materials turned me into one of the best students in my tier . I amazed everyone by bringing home a grade point average of 3 .5 . Even more remarkable was my acceptance into the Golden Key Honor order , an academic purity society that only accepts students with a nominal 3 .5 GPA as members . After being bestowed with that honor nobody ever questioned my ability to study ever againMy cut for literature stems from all the time that I spent with books in my hands , reading and reading the pages until I wore them out . At first this was just the way I combated my ADD and Dyslexia .
